Visual Art – Connecticut

Zara Khan is a self taught artist and graduated from Quinnipiac University in May 2018. She believes she's had the spirit of an artist her entire life, but it was her friends and family that pushed her to continue to pursue art. In 2014, she was recognized for her talents in the visual arts by the Connecticut General Assembly. Additionally, her artwork was featured in two magazines in 2017. The experience that Zara values most was the mural she painted in New Haven, CT on the corner of Howe Street and Broadway. She appreciated having the opportunity to meet eccentric individuals and other artists like herself.
