Annalisa Lingren

Hey, my name is Annalisa Lingren. I'm a visual artist born and raised in San Diego, but I recently moved to Boise with my husband this year! I have been inspired by masters like Edgar Degas with his impressionistic style rendering ballerinas as well as beauty in the outdoors, specifically underwater life! The message I convey through my art is at the core unity. For most of human history, people have been going to war to gain some kind of control and this is even true in the regular life of somone in the suburbs. I hear people all the time labeling and polarizing themselves against others. How can we make real progress in a society or world when we have problems getting along and seeing the bigger picture? The power of unity is great and is one that I am depicting in my artwork.
