Visual Art – Charlotte
Hi! My name is Angelique, I am a Illustrator and jewelry designer from Denver N.C.. I have been creating artwork for around 15 years and jewelry for around 3. I would describe my illustration style somewhat surreal with a hint of realism, while I would say that my jewelry style is all it’s own.
Coming from an Italian family full of artist’s, I started learning my technique at a very young age. From grammar school all the way through highschool, I continued my education in fine arts in every way I could. When I graduated from highschool I went to art school immediately at the Art Institute of Charlotte to peruse a degree in interior design. Realizing it wasn’t what I truly loved, I then went back to school a few years later for my real passion, drawing and illustration. It was in school where I learned about jewelry making as well.
I graduated from college with a fine arts degree in 2016 and have been a working artist ever since. I now have my own Etsy store that displays my handcrafted accessories, by the name of Piccola Bella Boutique, I also have a lot of experience working for commission and I have participated in many art shows/pop up shops/art events in the area! I’ve spent my whole life making art, it was my first love and will always be a part of who I am.
