Andrea Montoya is a BFA candidate at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Through fashion, Andrea is able to express her frustrations with our political system and hold those accountable for division, separation, and inhumane treatment from the government, law enforcement, and large corporations of Mexico and the United States of America. Andrea is not afraid to inject raw emotions to create statement pieces that symbolize both pain and power.
