Fashion – Boston

My first word was, \"pretty\", which I learned while shopping for clothes with my mom and aunts. You can say that my fate was sealed at a young age because I always knew that I wanted to be a fashion designer. Twenty four years later that dream is now coming true. I am a recent graduate of the prestigious Parson\'s School of Design in NYC and I have worked for designers such as Diane Von Furstenburg and Richie Rich. Some of my pieces have gone down the runway at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week. One suit that I made for the runway was even worn by Ellen DeGeneres. Now I am back in Boston, my hometown, working on establishing myself as an independent designer. My design aesthetic is a mix between Alexander McQueen and Carolina Herrara; dramatic, feminine and architectural. Boston style desperately needs to be shaken up, and I\'m just the designer to do that! Those who create are rare; those who cannot are numerous. Therefore, the latter are stronger. - Coco Chanel
