Visual Art – Philadelphia

Jason Brueck is a full time attorney, part time graphic artist, who lives in Center City Philadelphia and is constantly looking for ways to swap the current full-time and part-time designations. Growing up in Ft. Myers, Florida, his family would often travel across the state to watch the shuttle launches at Cape Canaveral. A quick look at his website confirms his fascination with astronauts, and to a deeper sense, the unknown. His aim is to combine the real with the surreal, thereby creating an image that lends itself to the viewer\'s own interpretation. He has been shown in over a dozen restaurants, bars and other sorts of businesses throughout the Philadelphia region. He was recently featured in Paradigm Magazine and Catapult Magazine, in addition to winning Best in Show at The Woodbury Fall Arts Fest. He is a co-owner of Sub2 (sub squared) Gallery, located in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia, where his work is displayed full time. Like a number of his astronauts, he\'s not entirely sure how he got here, but he\'s excited about where he\'s headed.
