Performing Art – San Francisco

Alma is a multi-award winning and internationally performing dancer, instructor, and choreographer specializing in Middle Eastern Dance. Alma's primary style is Egyptian oriental dance (belly dance). She is well-regarded by musicians and audience alike for her musicality and stage presence and draws on 15+ years of theater, film, and music performance. She was a featured soloist at the nationally acclaimed 2016 San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival in collaboration with Georges Lammam Ensemble. In the Summer of 2016, she premiered a feature show in South America titled, "Una Historia de Amor." Recently Alma was crowned the 2016 Belly Dance Queen at the Carnival of the Stars Egyptian Belly Dance Revival Competition and 2rd runner up at the 2017 Belly Dancer of the Year Competition. This April, she will be teaching a 'Golden Age' workshop at Rakkasah West, America's oldest ongoing bellydance festival. Please check out her website for more information!
