I was fortunate to learn drums early. Taking lessons at 5, and then several other times throughout my life, I have enjoyed having the drums me a lifelong passion I’ve spent lots of time crafting. Playing in lots of bands over the years, I’ve had the honour of performing in bands that have opened for Sebastian Bach, We Came as Romans, and lots more. My health has always been a nuisance. I had brain surgery in my first year of life, few general minor surgeries and procedures growing up, a few chest tubes and a lung surgery, my appendix out, a couple biopsies, and then most recently, I went through chemotherapy. On the other side of all that, I’ve been working through chronic pain issues, receiving regular injections around my spine. Drumming has been something at times I took for granted, and now, it is something I feel very fortunate to get to do. I love playing, and so my performance is me playing along to a selection of songs I feel are energizing.
