Visual Art – Austin
I am from a small, West Texas town outside of Lubbock and I am a farmers daughter. I have lived in Austin Texas 13 years now. I love the city but I am a country gal at heart. As soon as I learned to write my name, I developed a love for drawing. Throughout my life, I have done commissioned paintings of people and also their pets. I enjoy using recycled magazine to incorporate with different media’s. I also create drawings based off of animal sayings. Bright, playful, and colorful are things you will often see in my paintings. As a child I was given the nickname Cactus Kate. I often wear cowgirl boots with my hair in a side braid and I hope you enjoy my work!
