Company Bio: "A D.R.E.A.A.M." Dance Company, ( A Dancers Reality Embracing Adventageous Ambitious Movement), is a collaborative group of artist that have come together to create and explore movement in a variety of dance styles, but known for their theatric and hip hop-infused approach. Formed from the perseverance and dedication of dancers, this group share the same insurmountable passion and love for the art of dance; Creating orginal and unforseen work that inspires all to move without confinement but with conviction! With the realization that dance is a gift, A DREAAM is dedicated to bridging and embracing all forms of dance and sharing that passion with all who would love to see it in hopes that it inspires all to move advantageously and with ambition. Choreographer Bio: Dancer, choreographer, and teacher, Monica Michele Fleming, was born in southern California where she received her Bachelor's Degree at California State University Northridge. Since the age of 10 she has been actively engaged in dancing, acting, and singing in school, church and in her community. Predominately a hip hop dancer growing up, Monica saught for more training in dance, after her first class in ballet and jazz, she began being exposed to all forms of dance, and soon fell head over heels in love with every style and genre of dance! As she started dancing and creating, she couldn't just commit to one style of dance, she began to fuse multiple styles to her work like jazz, modern and contemporary, with hip hop as the base. With her passion and love for dance, Monica became founder, artistic director, and choreographerof A D.R.E.A.A.M (A Dancers Reality Embracing Advantageous Ambitious Movement) Dance Company. Monica has been performing in various indepent works and trained with artist such as Jackie "Miss Funk" Lopez, Leigh "Breeze-Lee" Foad, Maya Zellman, Rande Dorn, Jasmine Burgos, Kiha Lee, Liz Casebolt, and more. In addition to performing in the Los Angeles are, she has also become a reoccuring featured choreographer at LA's choreographer's "DanceSpot" showcase, presented work for several Los Angeles Valley College Dance Concerts, last years "Shut Up and Dance" festival and other works in the area.
