Zertina Mandrell inadvertently began her career in fashion while in high school when she decided to design her own dress for her senior prom. From there she went on to design prom dresses and other occasion outfits for her close friends and family memebers. Zertina plans to promote her clothing line \"Diamond Dymes by Zertina,\" both nationally and internationally. She wants to help change the often mundane standard and marginalized style of urban clothing.
