Lucas Mejia is a talented, creative textile, fashion, and accessory designer who was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. He has lived in the United States for eighteen years. He has won many awards including being a selected candidate for the Art of Fashion Foundation in San Francisco and was named \"The Emerging Designer of South Florida\" by the Fashion Group International in March, 2010.
