Photography – Austin

In 2015 I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin after having been exposed to countless amazing thinkers of my generation. Learning from several artists at the University, I was able to study art from a wider range of locations than from where I was accustomed. Salvador Dali, Konstantin Kacev, Guy Paizy, and Jaime Romano are a few of the specific artists from whom I have taken much artistic influence. I have traveled to various locations within the united states for inspiration and have learned various different styles to portray my messages. Each location allowed me to develop new appreciation for different expressions of art and exposed me to new ways of thinking that produce art of even more forms. Contemporary and abstract artists of Europe, Puerto Rico, Japan, and Brazil have given me an intense appreciation for geometry, form, lighting, and depth. I have studied and learned to open my mind to more abstract concepts in order to better portray the truth that I see. What is this truth? It is the realization of mysteries that are unknown to the common man. It is the mystic presence that is all around us in all things that we can see and also in those we cannot perceive.I desire to present various symbolic representations of truth through my art in order to enlighten and stimulate those who understand. My inspirations have given me a new insight to truth, but also the cryptic ways in which it is presented to us. I literally want to present those same cryptic messages in my art to connect with those that understand and to build with them as well as within myself.
