Trained in Fashion Design at the Sydney Shillito Design College and Milan Fashion Institute, Wendi Leigh has designed for several Sydney and Berlin labels before wholesaling her designer label in the 80s, then taught Fashion Design at the Mid North Coast TAFE from 1990 til 2005.
She moved to Wollongong in 2006 and realised that en trend styles for the over 40s was not being adequately met in Wollongong. She launched her locally manufactured range of easy wear limited edition styles in 2012 with the philosophy that “quality sells” and "women like to express their individuality through unique creative styles"! Now ladies seek out her styles in her shop Trenz Resort Wear Corrimal Street Wollongong and her online website.
Wendi Leigh Designs is an established fashion design studio operating in Wollongong, creating one-off and limited edition Resort wear, Travel wear and Special Occasion wear. The styles are unique and geared towards the over 40s woman who likes to wear the latest trends but be comfortable at the same time.
