I know that when my hands lead by instinct and emotion, the result is His not mine.“ Look not from our wealth… of knowledge, experience, doctrine. Look from our poverty… of knowledge, experience, doctrine. That which is unseen by the naked eye, but seen by the naked truth of our hearts and soul. There lies the art, the story, the rendering… It belongs to us, not from the artists ideas or hands, but by something we need and hunger. Something to live… into. That is how I choose to paint.
