Performing Art – Philadelphia

Originally from Toronto, ON, Vanessa trained in RAD (the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum) and various genres of dance before moving on to study at Point Park University (Pittsburgh). In December 2014, she graduated with a BFA in Dance and concentration in Jazz. While in Pittsburgh, she worked for Greer Reed and her company Reed Dance (formally known as the August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble). Vanessa also received further training at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Movement Invention Project (NYC), Ignite! (Toronto), and Springboard Danse Montréal. Upon graduating, Vanessa moved to NYC where she was involved in project-based performances, including working with Kristin Sudeikis and the Brooklyn Dance Festival Company. Ms. Guinto has taught workshops and choreographed for various studios and high schools throughout Canada and the United States. Vanessa moved to Philadelphia when she joined Koresh Dance Company in 2015 and she also teaches at the Koresh School of Dance. Along with performing at different national and international venues, she is involved with teaching master classes and outreach programs while on tour with the company.
