It always starts the same way: Another event to attend, and once again I find myself staring at my closet, searching for a different answer to that looming question: “What to wear tonight?”
I realize yet again, I'm doomed! I drag out one little black dress after another, increasingly discouraged, and in total frustration. “This has to end once and for all!” Trying to divert a melt down, I scoop up a bunch of the dresses and head through my studio towards the trash, to dump the entire bunch out of sight, when fate intervened. In my haste I tripped over the open paint cans on the floor, splashing colors everywhere. That bland pile of black dresses suddenly lit up! I picked up my brush and started painting, squeezing and splattering all over my dull, colorless clothes, and UrbanJam.Art was born!
OUT were my days of boring clothes... IN were uniquely painted, fun, one-of-a-kind garments. Be Bold, I say!
