Photography – Melbourne

I am a conceptual artist who uses photography as a medium to tell stories from both my life and the lives of others. I have been a photographer for over 5 years now, however for the first two years, I was practicing glamour and fashion photography, but then an event happened in 2014 which changed my photographic life and helped me finally take the giant leap from glamour and fashion into storytelling. 2016 was the year that my passion of photography started turning into something more, as I was chosen as a finalist in the MAMA National Photography Prize 2016 and the Contemporary Art Awards 2017. I also won the Young Regional Artist Scholarship through Create NSW and the Susan Moorhead Memorial Award in the MAMA Art Prize 2016. I held my first ever solo exhibition “The Chronic Diaries” in May of 2017. That was the beginning of that “something more” turning into my career, as I am now working as the Exhibitions Documentation Photographer at the Murray Art Museum Albury, and also opened my own professional photography business in July. I’ve also been a part of many group exhibitions throughout 2016 and 2017, and will be a part of my first international group exhibition at the CityArts Factory in Orlando in January of 2018. My current goals are to keep touring my solo exhibition “The Chronic Diaries” around, keep working with MAMA and keep creating as much high quality work as I physically can.
