Visual Art – Boise

I've been doing ever since I was 2 years old basically since I learned to walk. My art came about because of my father, he was a artist his whole life and the moment I seen I seen him draw I would want to be just like him so I picked one of his pencils and just started doodling hearts and balloons and from that moment forward I wanted to do art and almost my whole life my day was my mentor and role model I looked up to and to this day I still strive to be as good as my father is at drawing. For awhile art was something I did every day after school drawing from pictures I found and my parents knew I had an art talent from the day I picked up that pencil for the first time and started drawing. Once I got into middle school my parents made me get into an art class and ended up doing art classes all through highschool and I loved it my art teacher I had at Bonneville high school also started to become my mentor he knew how to push me hard on my drawings and would always give me a 99% on my drawings and it bugged me he would give everyone else a 100% and I kept pushing my self harder to get that 100% and drove me crazy to be 1% short and my teacher knew that would push me to be a better artist . When I got towards college I didn't know I was going to make my art a career and started doing stuff for a nursing degree thinking that was what I wanted to do to save lives and after my second year of college I decided to change my degree into Graphic design and realized I belonged in the art field and it is my strong suit. That same year I changed my degree I got interested in tattooing and became a tattoo artist and want to do it as a side job when I get a job in the graphic design field. Art is my life and my passion and to this day I still strive to be as good as my father and to aim for that 100% grade.
