Photography – New York - NYC

I am a NJ/NY based creative photographer that focuses on unique, abstract, and avant-garde photography. Growing up right across the Hudson from NYC, the arts have always been at the forefront of my professional and social life. I studied Theatre at Montclair State University in NJ and went on to become a full time theatre teacher and director at the local high school in my city. While I was studying, teaching and directing theatre, photography was always there bubbling underneath. I found it to be one of the only outlets where I could express and create these avant-garde and abstract ideas that were manifesting in my head. It was a different form of expression. I got attached to this idea of fearlessness as an artist and as a model. That was the beginning of my work. It began with capturing the male form, in it's most raw, most vulnerable form. Gradually I became fascinated with the beauty of chaos and mess, and my photography evolved. I'm currently still experimenting and diving deeper into the mess, playing with different textures and colors, and the idea of the body being my canvas.
