Performing Art – Connecticut

Rosanna Karabetsos is a contemporary and hip hop dancer born in Hartford, Connecticut. She graduated from the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts after 15 years of competing in regional and national dance competitions and has since been dancing professionally. She is currently the lead choreographer and puppeteer for “Nightfall”, an annual outdoor production in Hartford that features music, theater and dance. Rosanna also tours the country with the world’s most recognized Michael Jackson impersonator, Joby Rogers and the Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience. In addition, Rosanna works closely with DFX Entertainment, choreographing and performing on various productions and events throughout New England, such as Night Nation Run, and other DFX Produced shows like Echoes of Sinatra. She also is a member of the NLL New England Black Wolves, Howlers Dance team and previously danced for four seasons with the WNBA Connecticut Sun, Solar Power Dance team. Rosanna is also proud to have been a founding member and creative collaborator of dance company TNMOT AZTRO, based in Hartford, CT. Rosanna has also appeared in music videos and television commercials, as well as promotional modeling for various companies and brands. As an artist Rosanna is interested in defining the language of movement, and exploring the boundaries of different styles and techniques across all mediums.
