Emma Wardle is a graduate of the National Art School in Sydney where she majored in photography. She studied at NAS from 1987-1990 and has shown her work in multiple group exhibitions in Sydney throughout the 1990's.
Emma is a multi media artist with a particular passion for jewellery design, photography , painting and printmaking.
Emma has focused her creative skills over the last twenty years on her jewellery designing.
She established her wholesale jewellery design business The Merchants of Venus Jewellery in 1998. Her jewellery designs have sold successfully throughout the Australian retail market place including prestigious outlets such as the Australian Museum in Sydney.
Emma's high quality jewellery pieces are handcrafted in Sterling Silver with natural gemstones and cultured pearls on the exotic tropical island paradise of Bali by traditional Balinese silversmiths . Emma's designs are diverse , catering to the alternative and esoteric market as well as to the elegant and classical individual.
Emma is currently reigniting her love of creating visual imagery and has produced a whole new range of digital creative photographic artworks that she is about to launch in a diversity of formats and products.
