Performing Art – Dallas - Fort Worth

KaCee is a DFW based dance instructor, performer, and choreographer. She creates dynamic choreography that is inspired by the growth she has seen throughout her journey and the growth she hopes to see in the future. She began her dance exploration at Svetlana Stanova's Ballet Academy, where she gained her knowledge of the Vaganova Method. This pushed her to pursue more dance training by attending Arlington Heights High school. There she was introduced to many dance styles: jazz, contemporary, modern, and so much more. While dancing in Fort Worth, KaCee attended Dance Connection-FW. Her time in Fort Worth gave her the opportunity to dance in works by Joy Atkins-Bollinger, Michael Myles, Tiffany Brown-Zebrun, Jackie Druzonavic, and Rachel Wade. She continued her dance education while attending The University of Texas at Austin. She is the founder and former director of Bend Bandits , a UT dance organization that focused on bringing dance to under-served communities. Upon returning to North Texas, she was a company member and soloist for Northwest Dance Company in Fort Worth. She is currently an instructor/choreographer Diane Cole Johnson Dance Studio, with a Bachelor of Science in Dance, Biology, and Anthropology from The University of North Texas. "She is a powerful, emerging artist seeking to give back and help anyone interested in dance through choreography and her knowledge of injury prevention" -Kelly Kline
