Beauty – Cleveland
My name is Emma Rickey, I am 20 years old, born and raised in Stow, OH, and my passion is creating through the outlet of hairstyling. I was one of those little girls who used spray paint Barbie hair and spend hours making my dolls look perfect. I always had a love for beauty and I was always curious when it came to figuring out new braids to try out on my friends. I was the one people asked to do their hair for school dances or for dance recitals and I had an innate desire to make people feel lovely. To me, its about making the outside and inside beautiful and having my guests feel confident in who they are. I desire to build relationships with all I work with and collaboration is key to making something legendary. I never imagined my life path would lead to art resulting from a college preparatory background, but through soul searching and really digging into the meat of who I am as a person I have discovered my true calling in life and how I can make a difference. Whether it be an intricate braided look, an avant garde editorial style, or a bohemian vibe with tousled curls I want to inspire and stimulate minds all across the globe and tell valuable stories and ideas through my work.
