Photography – Spokane

From a young age I have had to deal with many medical emergencies and surgeries. Every day was a struggle, and some days I did not know how much time I had left. It was Photography that always kept me grounded. I could snap a photo of a happy moment, and then have that photo for years to come. If I ever felt depressed laying in my hospital bed, I could look back on The physical therapy I had gone through, the surgeries I had endured, or countless pneumonias I had been through. Looking back and seeing the successes gave me that extra push I needed to stay strong. It wasn’t until my senior year of high school, when I took an AP Photography class, and fell head over heals for the art. With my Photography I like to showcase that some of the things all around us such as; buildings, structures, the natural world and even people. There are whole worlds of unseen emotion and beauty that is just waiting to be photographed. Many people can take a good photograph, but only a few can attach meaning and/or emotion to the photo, and that is what defines an artist from an amateur.
