Visual Art – Perth
My name’s Stacey, I’m a local Perth self taught artist. I took up painting in 2017 as a hobby and haven’t looked back, when I’m not working I’m creating.
When I first discovered alcohol inks I was immediately drawn to the way they interact with one another and how no two pieces are ever the same. This medium has actually taught me patience with my work and that sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I’ve loved experimenting with alcohol inks and resin, and the depth that’s created when you combined these two mediums. Ive recently started exploring and creating 3D art by adding embellishments to my finished resin pieces creating a whole new level of depth and texture in my work.
