Sophocles

I am a pro cartoonist, freelance illustrator, animator, author, curator and art educator. I started my freelance illustration career with illustrations for the book Against All Odds: Passions of a poet vol. 2 in 2008. For the past 5 years I have taught art in after school programs in Manhattan, Brooklyn and in Queens to elementary and middle school students. I have self published, designed and illustrated a short story book about my adventures through the subway called Subway Stories which I sell in the subway and at art shows. I have been apart of 14 group shows and have sold my book and art work in a solo show at the Ouchi Gallery in Brooklyn. I am currently working on my second book, a collection of 5+ years worth of drawings and stories from travelling the New York City Subway.
