Sarid Soto

Passionate illustrator form the Dominican Republic who is obsessed with color. Graduated from Altos de Chavon and Parsons the New School for design where she got her BFA in Illustration. Has worked as a freelance illustrator in her natal country, doing editorial work for: Uepa and Flow Magazine. Has also worked in book publishing, illustrating a Children\'s book for \"Alfaguara\" by the Satillana group called \"La Una del Ogro\" published on May 2011. In 2010 the artist created a hand painted clutch bag line that she presented at Dominicana Moda 2010 at Larissa Salcedo\'s fashion show. Continuing with the fashion industry, Sarid has also worked doing graphics for Romeo and Juliet Couture\'s garments. Last fall she collaborated with Tyra Banks creating storyboards for a project based on her book \" Modelland\"
