Quist Artwork

Visual Art – Providence

Eleanor Quist Costello Olson was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Eleanor's work is concerned with our interactions with the built and natural environments we live within and complicating the narratives usually thought of as black and white. Through delving into relationships between preservation/conservation, realness/masquerading, identity/difference, natural/synthetic, etc., Eleanor's art tackles complex issues from a view point that refuses to see cut and dry answers. Eleanor Olson currently is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design, Class of 2020. Additionally, Eleanor is concentrating in Race, Gender, and Sexuality and Nature, Culture, and Sustainability.
