Prieto is from Ciudad Bolívar-Venezuela, his first contacts with the arts occurred during his childhood when he had the opportunity to get to know the "Museum of Modern Art Jesús Soto", a space inaugurated in 1973 dedicated to the master of kinetics born in this city, in This site between Venezuelan and foreign artists has the opportunity to meet works of artistic trends such as structuralism, neoplasticism, optical art, kinetic, monochromatic, geometric art and concrete art.   This site became a place of retreat and reflection, always had the concern to manifest itself through art, could not do it by not possessing the appropriate means and not having people with whom to share their vision of things or concerns. It was on the radio that he was able to express himself for more than a decade, but the atmosphere was increasingly hostile to radio announcers and journalists, which led him to stop working, he does not have formal art studies, but when he stopped working in radio took advantage and took the paintings and brushes to download their energy into the fabrics using critical messages to the dictatorship in Venezuela, receiving some pressures that led him to leave their country. Before arriving to live in the USA in 2016, through works he could be in contact with some popular artists little known in Venezuela, for they feel great admiration and respect, they have served him to develop as an artist, his main objective is to try to connect the naive and ethnic art of his country with his colorful way of seeing things, he continues to send messages against the situation in Venezuela but this time in a more abstract and symbolic way, he avoids the direct message in his works, prefers that the observer Decide how to decipher the message or simply make an idea of ​​what your eyes see.
