Most little girls at age seven want to be teachers or mommies; but even at a young age, Channelle knew she wanted to be a designer. From early days of sketching on notebook paper and making doll clothes, Channelle honed her craft at a young age. After completing design school in 2009, Channelle,dubbed \"Coco\" by her classmates, began to develop Phake Gold. A brand she desrcibes as contemporary street wear. Using her natural talent for color and balance she contributes creative, yet realistic designs to the world of fashion. One principal she stands on is that clothing should be two things:Practical and affordable. After a short, almost two year hiatus, she is in the process of re-developing and re-launching Phake Gold in the spring of 2012. She hopes that this time she\'s in it for the long haul. She bases her career off of a quote from one of her fashion idols, Alexander McQueen, \"Fashion is like breathing; I cannot NOT do it\" Channelle says she only has one goal: to take the world hostage...one design at a time.
