Fashion – Nashville
I am from Venice, Italy and currently living in Charlottesville, VA. I design and make handmade clothes with respect towards the environment and its people, beginning with the choice of the fabric to the production of the item itself, which requires time and patience. "Handmade" becomes philosophy of life when the seamstress wants to combat the pace of today's industrial manufacturing and the dull, conformed wardrobe that it offers; the work exploitation in the production of mass goods; the use of synthetic fabrics, and the water pollution which textile dyeing entails.
