Photography – Canberra
Paola Méndez is a Chilean artist based in Australia since 2015. While studying architecture in the late 1980s she was inspired to begin looking around to find the best perspective for what surrounds us. In 2009 she started hiking The Andes with a group where she met her Australian husband and the beginning of a life away from her familiar mountains and home in Santiago. Following her curiosity she continues taking photos of nature, mountains, wildlife and family to uncover the secrets of the new environment in which she is immersed.
