Visual Art – Seattle
I grew up in Wasilla, Alaska. I studied at the Art Institute of Seattle and obtained a B.A. in interior design. Currently, I work as an interior designer and stylist in Seattle, WA. My design style is reflected in my open expansion and understanding of different design styles and their unique elements. My philosophy is to “design with passion, creativity, and purpose.”
While interior design is one of my passions, drawing and painting are my others. While growing up in Alaska, I would draw the nature and wildlife that I saw around me. Once I was in high school, painting became an outlet for me. It was soon after that I would find my love of the use of acrylic paint. While in college, I wanted to try something that pushed me outside of my comfort zone. In response to this, I turned to portrait drawings, focusing on every little detail of the human form. Ultimately, this became what I enjoy most!
While I’m not designing or drawing, I enjoy exploring the beautiful state of Washington, hanging out with my pug “Dude”, and going to as many concerts as I possibly can.
