Visual Art – San Francisco

Born in Oaklnd, CA in 1957, I remember all the way back to 3 years old drawing Fred Flintstone. As a kid I'd rather draw then watch T.V. I have been painting for 36+ years. In 2006 God gave me the vision in a dream to paint people blue. Inspired by this vision of peace and unity, " Blue people were created. I began using vivid colors, cubism, geometric shapes, dots, recycled paint and texture. The combination and complexities of these mediums reflects the complexities embodied in us as a people. " Blue is the Color " of our universe, sea and sky. We are all born with blue attributes; trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, knowledge and power. imagine the world embodying these attributes and principles, a world of peace and unity. Some people believe blue is the color of our blood before oxygen... Whether this statement is the truth or myth, I enjoy watching my characters come alive with the realization that " Blue " life was consistenly flowing through my body. I became at peace with my purpose and united with a focus to create Art symbolic of this new found Peace and Unity. Canvas and a paint brush to are like a notebook and pen to a writer. This is how I can express myself from the internal side. I believe we are all people of color and the color is " BLUE " I am called the "GREEN" Artist that paints "BLUE" people " I have been recycling my paint since 1993, I use the recycled paint to sculpt the hair on my characters. Their hair is approx. 2"x4" thick. I am an retired hair stylist of 17 years and I now style hair on canvas only. If you enjoy creations that are " Environmentally ( Green) Conscious and Spiritually Inspired. I know you will be at peace and unite with my art.
