M-SHE Productions

Performing Art – Minneapolis

M-SHE Productions is the creation of the husband and wife duo, Maggie and Parker Culp. With the eye and soul for all things artistic, M-SHE Productions, provides choreography, instruction, direction, music mixes, recording studio needs, workshops, and performers for dance, music, and photography. The Dance Company: M-SHE Productions has performed for: corporate events, The Phipps Center for the Arts, Ballet Minnesota, The Minnesota Fringe Festival, and the Minnesota Opera. The goal with M-SHE Productions Dance Company is to have a community full of dancers who push one another to let go of the boundaries and to flow into nothingness until there is something. We are all about serious, powerful, and ambitious dancers who have the desire to share their passion for movement with the people. Maggie will achieve captivation with creation, through a beautiful adventure surrounding darkness. Maggie and Parker's concepts have been categorized as: intense, a “twistical onstage, and like watching a NIN music video in person.” Original Theatrical Performances Maggie and Parker created, produced, directed and performed in three original theatrical productions, "L'Heure de Minuit," the sequel "La Malediction," and "BELIEVE." "L'Heure de Minuit," a victorian carnival, previewed on November 2, 2013 and has been performed at: Patrick's Cabaret, The Lab Theater, and at the 2015 MN Fringe Festival. "La Malediction," a story about evil carnies transformed into vampires, premiered on Halloween in 2014 and has been performed at Dreamland Arts Center and Patrick's Cabaret. "BELIEVE" is set in the 1940's, with the Earth damaged from wasteful humans. To add to matters there are aliens among the populace that are causing quite an uproar. "BELIEVE" was created in 2017 and was performed at the Minnsky Theatre and The Southern for the MN Fringe Festival. Choreographer/Instructor: Maggie began dancing at age seven, training at Pat Peare School of Dance, Terps, Butterfield, and Larkin. She competed for 12 years winning many awards including the Pulse Convention Scholarship, Missouri’s Dance Idol, Symposium’s Terpsichorean, Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest Winner, Statewide’s Performer of Excellence, Jr. Miss Showbiz and Miss Starpower. Maggie went on to attend Webster University in St. Louis, MN, where she founded, coached, and participated on the Webster University Danceline. In 2006 she graduated with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Business Administration. After college, Maggie returned to Minneapolis and began her professional career as a celebrity impersonator and dancer in Mythology. Since then she has been featured in Macy’s Glamorama performing with Big & Rich at the Orpheum and Chicago State Theatre, toured with SKITZOfenic and appeared on the reality show Full Throttle Saloon. She has also become a highly respected 'senior' member of Sole to Soul performing as a backup dancer, lead, and model for major productions at local community events as well as large national/international hair and fashion productions. Maggie also continues to share her talents as an instructor of jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre, gymnastics, and baton at studios throughout the twin cities, and is the Artistic Director at The Dance Factory. She was also the Dance Team Coach for LILA in Forest Lake, MN. In addition to dance, Maggie has been involved in the world of theatre, performing and choreographing for companies in Minnesota and Missouri. Photography: Maggie has been in love with Photography since the end of high school. She likes to make the photographs about the journey, by making it an adventure in itself. She believes that life has so many special little moments, that we should capture them when we get the chance. She specializes in: performance art, children, and family pictures. Music Director/Music Producer/Musician: Parker grew up in Des Moines where his love for music began. His band Send Help toured the local area during his high school years, where he worked along side with Slipknot. He attended college at Musictech and received an Associates Degree in Audio Engineering. He has toured all over America with both local and national bands. When he is not on tour he is writing and producing music for local artists. Parker enjoys playing the drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard. Parker has worked for large corporations such as: Best Buy, Target, and Honeywell. He has also mixed bands and artists such as: Candlebox, Ingrid Michaelson, David Allan Coe, Saving Able, World Classic Rockers (members of Toto Boston and Santana), L.A. Guns, and Skid Row. He currently works throughout the Twin Cities area and makes music for local dance studios as well. His music pushes the listener outside of the norm, mixing electronic music with classical sounds, and a touch of what exists inside his head. Youth Workshops: Those who are hungry and wanting more at an early age, can get a hands on experience for what it's like to be put on the spot and perform under the pressure. Maggie and Parker truly enjoy working with younger generations and sharing their professional performance knowledge with them.
