Michael Guild

Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

Michael Guild is a Japanese / Iranian artist. He has a career background as a graphic designer and web developer that specializes in user interface with accessibility. He has been doing graphic design since the early versions of Photoshop and Corel Draw. As a kid, he use to try to mimic the techniques of comic book and anime artist. Later on, he took to graffiti and followed some other artist that did experimental things with graphic design. After, messing with several different mediums, he decided to focus on combing these different mediums so that they could complement and communicate a message or feeling. Currently, Michael is working on a “Disco Zoo” collection with the idea of inspiring people to take notice of the fine details of animals in an appreciation for nature as a whole. With the appreciation of nature and life, the ideas of how we as humans impact the world will hopefully allow us to gain some perspective on the choices we do on a daily basis that impact life around us. Michael is also working on a collection called “Dead Affection”. This collection is to allow us to see the relationships we create with inanimate objects and how we can create a story within a picture. http://rvrly.com/blog/
