They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and as a portrait artist, I’d have to agree. I’ve always enjoyed drawing, but within the last year or so, I’ve gotten pretty serious about sketching - specifically faces. There’s nothing more intriguing than attempting to translate all the little details of each person’s soul, reflected in their face, to paper; and nothing more satisfying than a satisfactory finished work. I’ve had a lot of fun showing my works to friends and showcasing it on Instagram, but I really look forward to taking it to a whole new level with being featured in Raw’s Nashville Art Show. Pencils are my usual medium, although I’m looking to get into charcoal...current muses: Jason Momoa, Keira Knightly, Jason Momoa, Kristen Steward, and did I mention Jason Momoa? ✍
