Melody Phoenix

My art has been the one constant in my life. It has been with me thru the good times and the bad. Creating art nurtures my soul. I am foremost a Portrait Artist. I have recently had a solo exhibition at the Coast Collective Gallery. I work in various mediums from the darkness of graphite and charcoal to the lightness of watercolours. My joy comes from the freedom I feel when working on large canvases using oils and acrylics. Every face has a story that I like to bring to life, using either graphite pencil for realism or oils and acrylics in a contemporary fashion.
