Melanie Flegal (Faerie Homemaker)

For as long as I can remember, little things have fascinated me...dollhouses and miniatures were a natural transition for me in my early teens. As my life took some twists and turns, I left the dollhouse world and entered into the workforce. I started with Nursing, which I was great at, but after 7 years of dealing with the sick and dying, found it very draining. I have since been many things, including retail cashier at Crafts, Fine Arts, Party supplies, and Market. I have worked in restaurants, dry cleaners, motels and even put in 9 years at a Fishing lake Tackle store. In the 90\'s I was a Rock \'n\' Roll drummer and always played in 2 or 3 bands at a time. I married the love of my life and had 2 children, Melissa and Joshua. After 13 years of marriage, my husband Randy, died unexpectedly at age 37. The last 20 years have been a real challenge. Now, my children have established themselves into adulthood and are happy, pursuing their dreams. I have 4 grandchildren, all girls, ranging in age of 3-12yrs old. They keep me in touch with my youth and magic. I truly am enjoying this part of my life. I have so many things I want to create...being a Faerie Homemaker is something I feel passionate about and I only hope I will have enough time left to do all that I imagine.!!
