Megan Erickson

Music – Seattle

Megan Erickson is a Seattle based singer-songwriter. Immersed in all things arts, she began dancing at three years old and playing music with her father, singer-songwriter Eric Erickson. With classic influences ranging from The Beatles to Carole King, Erickson inherited a unique and whimsical sound that continues to evolve and change shape. In high school, Erickson sang with a local choir group and continued studying guitar. It wasn’t until age 18 that Erickson really discovered her voice and her love for song-writing after she began training with Kristy Smith at the Seattle Drum School. In May 2017, Erickson infused her love of music and dance with the song You Keep Me Going. The song was written in collaboration with Au members Randy Ford, Lorraine Lau and produced by Ray Purviance. Accompanied by Erickson’s choreography, the project was presented as Through Innocence We Dream in Au Collective’s Show From SEA. Erickson has performed at multiple historic Seattle venues including The Scarlet Tree,The Mix, El Cortozon, Cafe Allegro, and The LAB at Seattle Drum School. Megan is currently working on her debut album, and continues to gain notoriety performing her new work at open mic’s throughout Seattle.
