Visual Art – Sydney
Having lived in four different cities, Mazi has drawn inspiration for her art from all over the world, in particular Paris, New York and Melbourne. Now based in Sydney, she still practices her figurative chiaroscuro style set in blue hues, however is transitioning towards a new exploration of colour and movement through a mix of street art, pop art, and action painting techniques.
Inspired by marine life, in particular the Great Barrier Reef, Mazi is also partaking in an exploration on how to raise awareness through her art of the critical disaster of the bleaching and potential destruction of the reef.
Although Mazi has done her formal education in Architecture, she has been painting since a very early age and has won various competitions and art scholarships over the years.
