Visual Art – Baltimore

I want to create change, specifically change in the world. My hope is that through my work I can help change societies views on culture, oppression, and overall life in general. That’s where my focus has been since 2012, I say focus but it’s more of my drive. Throughout my final years at UMBC, what drove me is my want to learn and expand on my experiences. Without taking classes such as Problem solving in the Urban Black community, I would have never known what gentrification was. Without the independent study courses and having the chance to do my own research I would have never known how there is a lack of communication and awareness for minority communities who go through this process. My work is in making art that will eventually have the ability to make a difference just from the sight of it.
