Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn

I grew up in Naperville, Illinois and left home at a young age. I began to seriously pursue art at Culver Academies, a boarding school in Indiana. There, I began exploring 2-D art and charcoal portraits. Most of the time, I spent multiple hours painting the walls of my studio, instead of my assigned work, in order to create a unique colorful space that became well known on campus. In college, painting became a way to unleash my mind, and my unique style began to solidify as I explored color theory and geometric shapes. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2012. I received a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design and a Minor in Art History. Soon after I moved to New York to pursue my art career. I continue to paint from my home studio in Brooklyn and am preparing for future shows in New York this spring.
