Visual Art – Colorado Springs

I studied Fine Art at St. Michael’s College in Vermont, and then like many others afflicted with ski-fever, I moved to Colorado for the promise of great skiing! Colorado has delivered on that promise and surpassed all expectations for gorgeous outdoor experiences across all seasons. These experiences have provided much of my artistic inspiration, and many of my photographs, paintings, and creations capture the scenes, moments, and memories of this Colorado lifestyle. Whether depicting the mountains of Colorado, the shores of New England, or the cities I visit, I always enjoy capturing the beauty of the everyday; from aspen groves to dandelions, from mountain sunsets to skis. I hope my work prompts viewers to appreciate new images of the everyday and revisit their own memories of similar experiences, scenes, and events. In my 9-5 life, I am a Social Science Researcher; conducting research and evaluation for Behavioral Health programs and interventions. While I do oddly enjoy my weekday spreadsheets weekend activities like skiing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, painting, photography, and happy hours provide a great balance and I wish I could fit more into each week!
