Visual Art – Melbourne

After studying art and computer science at Connecticut College I decided to explore the world and freelance as an artist and illustrator. I'm interested in how much we depend on images and recordings to supplement our day to day memories, often resulting in incomplete and unreliable recollections. My physical drawings often reflect this in portraits using dramatic lighting on a large scale - showing only pieces of an image up close, and the whole picture from afar. Drawing digitally allows me to reproduce images multiple times in order to create something new, similar to how we manipulate memories and ideals in our digital age.
