Performing Art – New York - NYC

Marie Lloyd Paspe is a Singapore-born, Filipina-bred dancer, artist, choreographer, singer, Pilates instructor, and pursuer of dreams based in NYC and the Bronx. In 2016, she graduated summa cum laude from the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA Dance Program with a minor in business. She has performed a variety of work by Matthew Rushing, Alvin Ailey, Igal Perry, Pascal Rioult, Jae Mann Joo, Manuel Vignoulle, Jon Ole Olstad, and Bryce Mousset, among others. She studied abroad in Israel at Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company's International Masa, where she trained and performed rep by Rami Be'er. Marie has also worked with Peter Chu and Eva Kolarova at Springboard Danse Montreal and Omar Carrum and Claudia Lavista of Delfos Danza Contemporanea.

Marie's choreography has been presented in Israel at Kibbutz Ga'aton's Zichri Theatre, as well as in an emerging choreographers showcase at Dance Theatre of Harlem in NYC. She is currently in her second season with Carolyn Dorfman Dance, and following her dream of creating her own work in NYC.

Dancers:
Elise Pacicco, originally from Charlotte, NC, grew up dancing competitively. In 2013, she graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University where she received BAs in both history and communication and minored in dance. While studying at Wake, she was also a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Elise received her MFA in dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2015. She has performed in works by Bill T. Jones, Paul Taylor, Shannon Gillen, Helen Simoneau, James Martin, Juel D. Lane, and Christina Soriano. Upon graduation, she performed with several dance companies throughout NYC including the Indah Walsh Dance Company, the Live Arts Collaborative, and Urban Tribe. She currently works as a dance artist for Carolyn Dorfman Dance and Rovaco Dance Company. She is also certified in both yoga and pilates practices, working with private clients and teaching yoga all over the city with Y7 Yoga Studios. Additionally, she teaches as a faculty member at Pure Movement Dance Center in Summit, NJ.

Eric Parra, originally from Union City, NJ, began his training at Montclair State University where he graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance in 2017. While at MSU, he had the opportunity to perform in the works of Larry Keigwin, Jose Limon, Sean Curran, and Camille A. Brown. Eric has danced for Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, Inc. where he has worked with world-renowned choreographers and teachers such as Matthew Rushing, Germaul Barnes, and Clifton Brown. He has also danced for Maxine Steinman & Dancers under the direction of Maxine Steinman, Pajarillo Pinta'o under the direction of Daniel Fetecua, and Doug Elkins Choreography, etc. under the direction of Doug Elkins. Eric has staged works at Union City High School, Montclair High School, and Montclair State University. Eric is the recipient of the 2016 Martha Hill Dance Fund Young Professional Award and the 2017 Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Dance Award. Eric is currently in his first season at Carolyn Dorfman Dance.
