Visual Art – Winnipeg

Marc Kuegle is a self taught Cree / German artist from Canada. He fuses photography and digital art together as his main mediums and on occasion, includes music and animation. Marc’s inspiration comes from traveling, skateboarding, music and their associated cultures and lifestyles. He has shown his work in various cities across Canada including two solo shows in his hometown of Winnipeg. He has also participated in various art events in Bangkok, Thailand including the Mango Arts Festival and a solo show titled 'Rovers' in 2020. In May 2022 he was showcased in a digital/physical pop up show in Toronto and June 2022 he showcased a digital piece at Five Points Festival alongside the Ghost Club Collective in New York City. Marc was also invited to attend and showcase at the Futurist Conference 2022 in Toronto. This past year Marc created an interactive installation that was along the Forks Winter River Trail as well as the Winnipeg Folk Festival. In March of 2023, he was also part of the 'Jpgs of the North' pop up gallery at Outer Edge LA. This past August, Marc finished his 4th solo show titled ‘Fisherman Friends’ which was on display for 3 weeks in Bangkok. His art can create a curiosity for exploration or it can bring back old memories of adventure and travel.
