Luis Angel Vega

My name is Luis Vega, I'm 26 years old, and I grew up in Lawrence Mass. I have two wonderful parents along with two brothers. I started Drawing at the age of 12, freehand, and drawing animation characters. I've always been a shy person, as a result, I didn't have many friends, but I knew I would always have my family by me. I went to a vocational High school and I had to choose between cooking or art, so deep down inside I've always wanted to learn how to draw. I took art classes for 4 years. After High School I continued to be self-taught. A few years later I fell into depression and I applied my mixed emotions into my drawings, It was my therapy, I would put on my headphones and listen to loud orchestrated music. at that moment in time I felt precarious. I was trying to figure out life and find myself, life is truly mysterious... I figured out that the negative thoughts wasn't the way to go because it was starting to become a sickness, for that is not the way I wanted to live life. That is when the mixed emotions I went through was applied it into my drawings, in the process, I created a masterpiece.
