Music – Cincinnati

Lost Henry began at Northern Kentucky University after guitarist Cale Wheeler and vocalist Landis Helwig decided they wanted to perform a Slipknot cover at a SOTA (School of the Arts) sponsored event. Enlisting Barry Rich on drums and Jackson Moss on bass guitar, they performed their first time. They named themselves "Lost Henry" after the Henry Konstantinow Theater at NKU, which they used as a practice space. They decided to take their music towards a more emo route, releasing a demo for the song "Keep You Alive" on Black Friday of 2017. Soon after, in the beginning of 2018, Ben Eglian joined the band as a backing vocalist/lead guitarist. His first performance with the band was at another SOTA event, premiering "Keep You Alive" live with the rest of the band. In the summer after, Lost Henry released their first single "Misfit" the same summer and had great local success, building anticipation for their debut EP. Playing shows at notable local venues such as The Thompson House and Legends, they were able to gain a local audience past their school. The band released their self-titled debut EP on Black Friday 2018, exactly a year after their "Keep You Alive" demo. The album art was inspired by the signature hand sign of an "LH" developed early on by their fans. The EP was independently released and produced by Eric Tuffendsam (The Wonder Years, Close To Home). Lost Henry is currently writing music and planning a very busy 2019, but until then: thanks for coming.
